IX. Acknowledgments

Nisha Varia, Asia researcher for the Women’s Rights Division, authored this report based on research she conducted in Indonesia and Malaysia in January and February 2004.  Janet Walsh, deputy director of the Women’s Rights Division; LaShawn R.
